Josué Castañeda Landa

Josué Castañeda Landa has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and programming. Josué is currently working as a Data Engineer at Flink México, where they are responsible for creating data pipelines for ETL processes using the component Aws Glue - Spark/Python script. Josué also develops CI for automating the production of ETL processes and has created the Data Warehouse within Flink using the Kimball methodology.

In addition to their current role, Josué has worked as a Data Engineer at Kavak.com, where they performed similar tasks of creating data pipelines using Aws Glue and developing CI for automating production processes. Josué also worked on creating the Data Warehouse within Kavak using the Kimball methodology.

Before Kavak.com, Josué worked at OPI Analytics as a Data Engineer, where their responsibilities included moving data between systems and extracting data from various sources such as external APIs, cloud storage, databases, and static files.

Josué also has experience working as a Big Data Engineer at Linio and as a Regional BI & Data Engineer. At Linio, they worked on big data projects and at Facultad de Estudios Superiores Acatlán, they worked as an Analyst Programmer, specializing in automating business processes using ASP.net technology.

Recently, Josué also worked as a part-time Adjunct Professor at FES Acatlán - UNAM, where they taught subjects such as Theory of Computation and Programming I.

Throughout their career, Josué has showcased their expertise in data engineering, ETL processes, data pipelines, and data warehouse creation. Josué is proficient in technologies such as Aws Glue, Spark, Python, and ASP.net.

From 2014 to 2018, Josué attended Facultad de Estudios Superiores Acatlán, where they pursued a degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. Josué successfully graduated with a degree in this field.

In 2018 to 2019, Josué continued their education at Facultad de Estudios Superiores Acatlán, undertaking a diploma program in Statistical Techniques and Data Mining.

In 2019 to 2020, Josué pursued another diploma program at Facultad de Estudios Superiores Acatlán, this time in Data Science.

In addition to their formal education, Josué has obtained various certifications. In 2019, they achieved the certification for Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals offered by Coursera. Josué further obtained the certification for Serverless Data Analysis with Google BigQuery and Cloud Dataflow from the same platform in 2019.

In 2021, Josué earned the Astronomer Certification for Apache Airflow Fundamentals from Astronomer. Josué then went on to complete several certifications offered by Google Cloud Training Online. In 2022, they gained the certifications for Google Cloud Computing Foundations in Data, ML, and AI in Google Cloud; Networking and Security in Google Cloud; Cloud Computing Fundamentals; and Infrastructure in Google Cloud.

Most recently, in 2023, Josué obtained the Fundamentals of the Databricks Lakehouse Platform Accreditation from Databricks.
