John Winchester

John Winchester, MPA, serves as the Senior Director of Government & Community Engagement at Arizona State University, where responsibilities include advancing the university's agenda with various local government entities in the Tucson area. With experience as both Director and Senior Director in the same office, John promotes significant local partnerships. Additional roles include being a Fellow at the Flinn-Brown Civic Leadership Academy and serving as Vice-Chair of the Emerging Leaders Council, where leadership development and community engagement are emphasized. John has a background in nonprofit leadership from the YMCA of Southern Arizona and holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Public Administration from the University of Arizona. Education has also been pursued at prestigious institutions such as the University of Oxford and through various focused programs on leadership and governance.
