Mary O'Reilly, PhD, serves as the Vice President of Biosciences Research Programs at Flinn Foundation since August 2018. With a robust background in both technical and managerial roles, O'Reilly previously directed Science Foundation Arizona, focusing on enhancing the state's high-tech workforce and educational systems from 2012 to 2018. O'Reilly has owned Oriana Technical Services, LLC, providing consulting on technical and business challenges, and held significant positions at Stirling Energy Systems and Littelfuse Inc., where responsibilities included product management and engineering. O'Reilly’s early career involved scientific work at Tyndall Institute, contributing to the development of research networks and a commercial test lab. Educational credentials include a PhD in Materials Science & Chemistry from Trinity College Dublin, a Master's in Technology Management from University College Dublin, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from The University of Manchester.
