Jean Marí Hernández López

Jean Marí Hernández López, D.M.L., currently serves as the JK-12 grades Modern Language Department Chair and Teacher at Flint Hill School in Oakton, Virginia, since August 2019. Responsibilities include curriculum oversight, faculty mentorship, and establishing departmental goals in alignment with the school's vision. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Westtown School as Chair of the World Language Department and at Saint Andrew's Episcopal School as a French and Spanish teacher, with additional roles at Middlebury Monterey Language Academy and other institutions. Education includes a Doctorate in Modern Languages from Middlebury College and a Master's degree in French language and civilization, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Humanities from Universidad de Puerto Rico.
