Mike Anderson

Michael Anderson currently serves as the Head Varsity Swim Coach and Upper School English Teacher at Flint Hill School, where responsibilities include teaching AP Language and Composition, Satire, Visual Literature, and Shakespeare since August 2020. Previous instructional roles include positions at American Public University, Prince George's Community College, and DCCCD, spanning from January 2014 to December 2021 and August 2010 to May 2012, respectively. Additionally, Michael Anderson was a Hughes Postdoctoral Fellow at Southern Methodist University from August 2012 to May 2013 and worked as a Policy Analyst at SAIC from 2002 to 2006. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in English Language and Literature from Southern Methodist University, a Master of Arts (MA) from the University of Rochester, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from William & Mary.
