Dare Stogner is the current FSPA Program Coordinator at Flint Institute of Music. Prior to this, they served as the Older Adult Services Manager for the City of Novi, Michigan from May 2019 to May 2020. In this role, they supervised the direction and implementation of a multitude of city wide adult programs and social services, including 18+ fitness, education, and older adult programming. Dare also served as part of the PRCS Department Leadership Team and was responsible for divisional budgets, reporting, records, contracts, invoices, and grants.
In their role as Older Adult Services Manager, Dare led the OAS team in creating, evaluating, and implementing community programs and services in the following areas: fitness, health & wellness, life-long learning, support services, transportation, and social enrichment. Dare was also responsible for property management contract and programming at Meadowbrook Commons, a 175 unit Senior Living facility owned by the City. In this role, they worked cooperatively with the management company to ensure effective operation.
Additionally, Dare provided leadership support for the Senior Transportation Program, that provided free and low-fare rides to adults with disabilities and 55+. Dare was also responsible for the City’s Veteran’s activities, including the annual Veteran’s Day Celebration, and Memorial Day events. Finally, they developed and implemented marketing plans for print, video, and social media outlets. Throughout their time with the City of Novi, Dare developed relationships and worked cooperatively with local businesses, city departments, and other organizations to create and bolster programming.
Dare Stogner has a BS from Cornerstone University in Philosophy and Religious Studies. Dare also has a high school diploma from Kearsley High School. In addition, they have a certification from the Center for Nonprofit Management - Nashville, TN in Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and a certification from Google in Online Marketing Fundamentals.
