Ashley Nizinski has extensive experience in library and education roles, currently serving as a Teen Librarian and Children's Librarian at Gloria Coles Flint Public Library since September 2014. Previously, Ashley contributed as an Educator at Sloan*Longway from October 2012 to August 2014, teaching science and social studies classes to various school groups. As a Teen/Reference Librarian at Vicksburg District Library from July 2009 to February 2011, Ashley organized teen programs and managed the teen summer reading initiative, while also handling patron inquiries and materials selection. Ashley began the career in library services as a Page at Genesee District Library from October 2008 to June 2009. Academic qualifications include a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) with an Archival Certificate from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Michigan State University.
