Job Summary: 

The primary purpose of the role is to help drive sales of our software applications by delivering compelling pre-sales presentations and demonstrations that highlight the value and capabilities of our solutions.  The candidate must reside in the United States, preferably in the Eastern Time Zone.  This role is primarily focused on North American sales opportunities, but will include support of global opportunities in EMEA and APAC. 

This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented Pre-Sales Consultant with extensive experience in complex pre-sales engagements.  The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical acumen and sales expertise, and will be comfortable presenting both remotely and in-person to high profile audiences.

You’ll be responsible for assisting the sales leaders in developing the sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities, analyzing prospect needs, delivering presentations, and helping influence future roadmap development.  Strong partnership and collaboration skills are required with ERP Providers (Microsoft, SAP, etc.), System Integrators, Independent Solution Vendors (ISV’s) Solution partners and internal sales/service/marketing/R&D teams to drive sales opportunities to closure and grow the business unit.

The role also involves representing Flintfox at industry association and pricing/rebate conferences across North America. You will be expected to deliver presentations and engage with partners and prospects.

What you will do: 

  • Help Sales Teams achieve regional sales targets within expected time frames

  • Assist with the execution of sales strategy, including appropriate market segmentation, and processes for the North America & APAC as a priority, with EMEA as a secondary.

  • Support discovery sessions with sales teams, partners, and prospects to understand and capture requirements, customer pains/challenges, and develop potential ROI opportunities

  • Conduct in-depth product demonstrations, highlighting the capabilities and benefits of Flintfox solutions, with a focus on ROI drivers for prospects

  • Develop a deep functional understanding of all Flintfox product offerings

  • Configure and support multiple ERP and Flintfox demonstration environments

  • Provide training and personalized demonstrations and webinars to internal stakeholders and external channel partners

  • Create effective working relationships across Flintfox:

    • with marketing related to sales collateral, case studies, whitepapers, and technical documentation
      • with service teams from a handoff, delivery, and on-going support perspective
      • with R&D from a roadmap perspective, supporting design/development/testing/presentation of net new functionality
  • Design/Build/Demonstrate compelling analytics using BI/Analytical Tools, as well as develop AI use cases

  • Build and maintain deep product and solution knowledge to enable (i) the articulation of business benefits and (ii) the presentation of Flintfox products to customers in conjunction with the Sales team members

  • Build high levels of competence and knowledge, through structured personal development, that can be demonstrated. This may take the form of structured training and in the field coaching

  • Update CRM accurately with all appropriate pre-sales demonstrations and data on a daily basis to enable monthly pipeline management and reporting to Sales Team Leaders and Chief Customer Officer

  • Undertake additional tasks, responsibilities and ad-hoc projects as and when requested

Requirements: 

  • At least 5+ years of proven Pricing Execution Industry knowledge.
  • At least 5+ years proven Pre-Sales experience in enterprise software or technology with a demonstrated history of success in delivering compelling demonstrations to achieve sales targets
  • A deep understanding of ERP business processes and a thorough knowledge of how ISV software solutions support wider ERP functionality
  • Experience in prospecting and leading qualifying discovery sessions with ERP, Supply Chain and/or CRM software solutions
  • Experience in selling to the Retail, Distribution, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Discrete Manufacturing industries
  • Experience presenting software solutions and driving a compelling business benefits message to customers
  • Experience presenting across a range of formal settings and audiences: one-on-one, small and large groups, with peers, senior and board level management, both remote and in-person
  • Experience working across both partner and direct sales channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An understanding of the value proposition to create awareness and need within target accounts, industry verticals and existing relationships
  • Proven ability to think and work strategically, while also driving rapid execution including personally contributing to key deliverables.
  • An understanding of financial processes and terminology

Preferred Experience: 

  • Relevant post-secondary qualification or substantial relevant work experience
  • Microsoft Dynamics ERP – Finance & Operations
  • SAP ECC, SAP S4/Hana
  • Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power BI, including data modeling, report creation, and dashboard development
  • Financial acumen – deep understanding of financial terminology and g/l, vendor, customer posting requirements
  • Pre-sales selling or business experience into complex distribution supply chains in the following industries: CPG/food/beverage, electrical/building supplies, medical, automotive/industrial

Additional Information: 

  • Work Location: Home Office – we will consider applications from different locations within the US
  • Preference is ET time zone
  • Ability and flexibility to travel mainly throughout Northern America (Travel requirement – 10 to 25%)
  • Ability and flexibility to provide global support when needed across non-US based time zones
