Sunil Mallya [Hiring ML]

Sunil Mallya has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sunil is currently the CTO and co-founder of Flip since February 2022. Prior to that, from February 2020 to February 2022, they worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior Manager on Amazon Comprehend, an NLP service. Sunil also served as the Principal Deep Learning Scientist at AWS DeepRacer from August 2015 to February 2020.

Before their time at AWS, Sunil was the co-founder and CTO of Neon Lab from February 2013 to November 2016. At Neon Lab, they built a CV and Neuroscience based ML service for Images and Video and designed a robust web service capable of serving images based on user ID or geo-location.

Sunil also worked as a Senior Software Developer at Zynga from July 2011 to February 2013, and as a Software Engineer at Dell EMC in 2008.

Sunil Mallya holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Brown University. No specific start or end dates for this educational experience were provided.
