Amitesh Jha is the SVP, Category & Marketplace at FlipKart. Amitesh has over 10 years of experience in Consulting, Business and Corporate Planning. Amitesh was previously with CareerNet Consulting from October 2007 to November 2010 where they worked as a Business Manager.

Amitesh was responsible for building the business case for strategic outsourcing and was also a solution consultant for many corporates, advising them on outsourcing strategies, cost benefit analysis and implementation of multi-tiered outsourcing. Additionally, they developed pricing strategies, governance structures, reporting and business development / marketing focus for outsourcing product.

In their previous company, they were also responsible for conceptualizing, initiating and managing a new line of business (LoB), a strategic and growth business. Amitesh built the business case for outplacement services, developed marketing strategies, pricing strategies and delivery operations for the business. Amitesh was also responsible for business development and sales for the service.

Additionally, they have also managed outsourcing with partners and developed and implemented a sub contracting system for delivery outsourcing. Amitesh was responsible for building a team and setting up processes and reporting for delivery. Amitesh was also responsible for developing pricing, governance and structuring of the channel partner system.

Amitesh Jha has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a dual degree (B Tech, M Tech) in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
