Lesley Klassen has a diverse work experience with a focus on new media and virtual reality. They co-founded and served as CEO at Flipside XR, a real-time animation studio in virtual reality. Lesley also co-founded and held the position of CEO at The Campfire Union, where they directed virtual reality experiences and conducted research in the field. Prior to that, Lesley owned Train Yard Studios Inc., specializing in serious games and e-learning development. They also worked as a New Media Producer at the Centre for Education and Work and co-founded Dojo Learning. Lesley started their career at Dripcastle Productions, where they worked as a Producer, Director, and Writer for industrial videos. They also served as a Technical Director and Project Manager at the Centre for Education and Work, overseeing technology implementation in workplace learning and adult education research.

Lesley Klassen received their Arts degree in Administrative Studies (Business & Marketing) from The University of Winnipeg, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. In 2004, they attended Tec Voc High School and obtained a Post-High Diploma in Radio & TV Broadcasting, which they completed in 2005. Additionally, Lesley has a certification in Television, Radio, and Broadcasting from the Tec Voc Post-High Program, although the specific month and year of its completion are not provided.
