Mark Gildersleeve is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical engineering and management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at FLIR Systems since February 2008, Mark leads diverse teams across mechanical, software, electrical, and configuration management disciplines while managing research and product development projects. Previously, Mark held positions as Electrical Engineering Manager and Electrical Engineer at FLIR Systems, where responsibilities included team leadership, mentoring, and the establishment of engineering processes. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Engineer at Southwest Research Institute, supporting avionics for military aircraft, and conducting research as a Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mark holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, a Technical Management Institute Certificate from Purdue University, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
