Ben R.

Ben R. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware engineering and management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Hardware Engineering at Flock Safety since October 2022, Ben previously held various roles at Qualcomm from November 2010 to October 2022, culminating in the position of Principal Hardware Engineer Manager for Customer Engineering. Ben's expertise encompasses leading teams for customer support and product commercialization across multiple segments, successfully launching a diverse array of market-leading consumer products. Earlier roles include Senior Staff Engineer at Altair Semiconductor, where Ben established the application engineering group and managed customer support for key product lines, and a Senior Engineer position at Qualcomm, contributing to the launch of the industry's first single-chip solution. Ben holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
