David Jesus

David Jesus is a culinary professional with extensive experience in various roles within the hospitality and food industries. Currently serving as a Chef Consultor at Monsantos and a Research & Business Development Chef at Flora Food Group since June 2023, David also co-founded Utopia Verde, a non-profit organization dedicated to sustainability and fighting food waste. Previous positions include Chef de Cozinha at CRESCER - Associação Intervenção Comunitária and Executive Chef at Mercure Lisboa Almada, along with notable roles in esteemed establishments such as Cooking Lisbon and the Internacional Design Hotel. David's educational background includes a postgraduate degree in Gastronomia Criativa from Universidade Europeia, set to be completed in 2025, and formal training from Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo de Lisboa.
