Nicolas Soto Rivera

Nicolas Soto Rivera, MBA, is currently the Head of Engineering for the Americas at Upfield since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Actemium as a Senior Project Manager from September 2016 to August 2021. During their time at Actemium, Nicolas successfully managed cross-functional teams and executed complex projects for various industries. Before Actemium, they worked at Maple Leaf Foods Inc as a Capital Projects & Reliability Engineering Specialist from July 2015 to September 2016, providing support for commissioning a production plant in Hamilton. Nicolas also has experience working at Anheuser-Busch InBev, where they served as a Regional Project Leader and later as a Senior Engineering & Maintenance Manager, overseeing engineering and maintenance departments for two production plants. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at Electro-Mechanical Services S.R.L and as a Senior Manufacturing and Maintenance Engineer at Eaton Corporation.

Nicolas Soto Rivera, MBA, has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finances & Marketing from Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, which they completed from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña between 1993 and 1999. Nicolas completed their high school education in Art & Sciences at San Pio X from 1979 to 1993. In addition, Nicolas has obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from ASQ in 2012.
