Alexander Aponte

Alexander Aponte has extensive work experience in financial planning and analysis. Alexander is currently employed as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Florence Healthcare since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the same position at AMES Taping Tools from February 2021 to January 2022. Alexander served as a Finance Manager at Interface from April 2018 to February 2021. Before that, they worked at Newell Brands, where they were a Leader in Finance from July 2016 to April 2018 and a Senior Financial Analyst from January 2016 to July 2016. Alexander also gained experience as a Senior Financial Analyst at Edelman from July 2015 to December 2015 and as a Business Manager at Grey Healthcare Group from June 2013 to June 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Budget and Financial Analyst at Columbia University from March 2012 to June 2013 and as an Administrative Assistant for Financial Affairs at Columbia University Medical Center from June 2007 to February 2012.

Alexander Aponte holds a Master's degree in Business Analytics from Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management. Alexander completed their Bachelor of Science degrees in Development Sociology and Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University in 2010. Alexander obtained their High School Diploma from Bronx High School of Science. In addition, they have obtained the Advanced Financial Modeler (AFM) certification from the Financial Modeling Institute (FMI) in 2023.
