Paul Ballas

Paul Ballas has had a long and varied career in the medical field. Paul began their career in 2006 as a Child and Adult Psychiatrist at Friends Hospital. In 2007, they became a Fellow in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. From 2009 to 2013, they held various roles including Medical Director at Green Tree School and Services, Contributor at Wired Digital, Advisory Board Member at Federation of American Scientists, and Travel Fellow for Discovery Communications and the AMA. In 2013, they became a Clinical Associate Professor at Jefferson Medical College, and in 2021 they were appointed Regional Medical Director at Cognoa. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Clinical Director of Regulatory Affairs at Floreo, where they are currently engaged in a wide range of company efforts.

Paul Ballas has a comprehensive educational background. Paul began their studies at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General in 1997. Paul then attended Case Western Reserve University, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) in Physiology and Biophysics in 2000. Finally, they attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where they earned a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) in Medicine in 2004.
