Luis Camps, MBA, CLC, currently serves as Pastor at the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists since March 2023. Previously, Luis held several roles at the Potomac Conference Corporation of Seventh-day Adventists from July 2020 to March 2023, including Interim Human Resources Director, HR Business Partner, and District Pastor. From August 2016 to July 2020, Luis worked at Adventist HealthCare as a Patient Experience Business Partner and Staff Chaplain, contributing to the pastoral care team and completing four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). Prior experience includes serving as Chaplain and Bible Teacher at Takoma Academy from July 2014 to June 2016 and as Senior Pastor of a two-church district with the Hawaii Conference of SDA from July 2011 to July 2014. Academic credentials include an MBA from the University of Phoenix (2018-2019), a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from Andrews University (2008-2014), and a degree in Religion from Southern Adventist University (1998-2004).
