Omar Palmer is an experienced religious leader with a strong background in chaplaincy and ministry. Currently serving as a volunteer chaplain at the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office since December 2018 and as a minister of religion with the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists since July 2018, Omar has also held ministerial roles with the Nevada-Utah Conference from October 2014 to July 2018. Previous experience includes serving as a hospice chaplain at Summit View Hospice from January 2017 to June 2018 and as a chaplain with Washoe County Sheriff from October 2016 to June 2018. Educational qualifications include a Master of Divinity from Andrews University, Chaplaincy Certification from the College of Pastoral Supervision & Psychotherapy, and a Bachelor's degree in Religion/Religious Studies from Canadian University College.
