Ben Field

Ben Field has extensive experience in the field of information security. Ben started their career as a Security Engineer at TBC Corporation in 2010, and later joined Prolexic Technologies as a SOC Engineer in 2011. In 2012, Ben worked as an Information Security Specialist at Citi. Ben then moved to TransUnion in 2014 and served as an Information Security Manager until 2017. Ben then joined Vitacost.com as a Senior Information Security Engineer for a year. In 2018, they returned to TransUnion as an Information Security Manager for a few months before joining Florida Crystals as a Security Architect. Ben quickly progressed within the company, becoming the Director of Security and Network Operations in 2020. Currently, Ben holds the position of Director of IT Security - Deputy CISO at Florida Crystals, a position they have held since 2021. In 2023, they were promoted to the role of Director of IT Security - CISO at the same company.

Ben Field earned a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems from Florida Atlantic University from 2007 to 2010. From 2005 to 2007, they attended Norwich University but did not obtain a degree in Information Security Management. Ben then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems (MMIS) from Nova Southeastern University from 2013 to 2016. In addition to their academic qualifications, Ben Field also obtained several certifications, including the GIAC Security Essentials in March 2015, the GIAC Penetration Tester in October 2013, the GIAC Certified Incident Handler in July 2011, and the GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester in April 2014.
