Lisel Laslie

Lisel Laslie has extensive experience in the Florida Department of Financial Services, where Lisel has served as Chief of the Bureau of Employee Assistance and Ombudsman since October 2002, specializing in data quality and collection within the Division of Workers Compensation. Previously, Lisel held roles such as Senior Management Analyst Supervisor, overseeing data management and IT support, and Management Review Specialist, where responsibilities included reviewing contractual services for compliance. Lisel began a career in workers’ compensation as a Claims Specialist and has also worked in various roles in healthcare and financial services, contributing to patient admissions, billing, and account reconciliation. Lisel holds a BA in Insurance/Risk Management from Belford University and an AA in Nursing Science from Miami Dade College.
