Russell Budell

Russell Budell is an experienced professional with a diverse background in public service and project management. Currently serving as an OCM Specialist for the Florida Department of Financial Services since January 2017, Russell is involved in the development and implementation of a statewide financial Organizational Change Strategy affecting 35 state agencies, focusing on employee onboarding and training. Prior to this role, Russell worked at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection from August 2010 to November 2016 as a Senior Government Analyst, managing public records requests and addressing contentious public interactions related to environmental issues. Additional experience includes positions at Oxford International as an Account Manager, coaching at the Camp Randall Rowing Club, and serving as a Team Advisor for the National Student Leadership Conference. Russell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
