Mateo Carvajal

Mateo Carvajal is a Staff Civil Engineer and Pavement Condition Consultant at ARA, a position held since January 2019, specializing in pavement engineering. Prior to this role, Mateo served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nevada, Reno from August 2017 to December 2018, where responsibilities included conducting advanced laboratory testing and analyzing data for reports. Mateo's earlier experience includes working as a Civil Engineer at the National Roads Institute (INVIAS), focusing on infrastructure needs and technical project specifications, as well as a Civil Engineer at Universidad del Cauca, where analyses on flexible pavement structures affected by super-heavy vehicles were conducted. Mateo holds a Master of Science in Pavement Engineering and Science from the University of Nevada, Reno and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Universidad del Cauca.
