Vanessa Thomas

Vanessa Thomas currently serves as the Senior Vice President at the National Association for State Women Veteran’s Coordinator, a position held since August 2022. In addition, Vanessa has significant experience with the Florida Department of Veterans' Affairs, where roles have included State Women Veterans Coordinator and Veterans Claims Examiner since February 2018. Previous experience includes positions as a Personal Banker and Universal Banker at Home Savings, as well as various roles in educational and corporate settings, including Co-Founder and Program Coordinator at Hope Academy for Autism and Senior Account Manager at FlexAlloy Inc. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Youngstown State University and a Professional Mediation Certificate in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from Lakewood College.
