Sarah Hein

Sarah Hein is an experienced pharmacy professional with a robust background in medication safety and quality management. Currently serving as the Director of Pharmacy Quality, Regulatory, and Safety at Tampa General Hospital since December 2001, Sarah Hein has honed expertise in clinical decision support, medication error management, and compliance with Joint Commission standards. Previous roles include Clinical Manager and then Director of Safe Medication Practices at University Community Hospital from July 1992 to June 2001, where responsibilities encompassed managing clinical services and coordinating pharmacy committees. Sarah Hein holds a PharmD from the University of Florida - College of Pharmacy, earned between 1987 and 1991, and has a foundational education from the University of Florida from 1984 to 1987.
