Frances Vaughn

Frances Vaughn, MPH, MLS, CIC, is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in infection prevention and epidemiology. Currently serving as a Regional Infection Preventionist at Florida Health since January 2021, Frances has held previous roles as an Infection Prevention Specialist and Coordinator at AdventHealth, as well as an Epidemiologist at the Florida Department of Health Seminole County. Key responsibilities have included leading outbreak investigations, conducting surveillance of healthcare-associated infections, and performing infection control assessments across various healthcare facilities. Frances holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from the University of Central Florida.
