Rick Miles

Rick Miles is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Department Manager at Northrop Grumman since June 2017, overseeing areas such as Liaison Engineering, Materials & Processes, Structural Design, and Engineering Tools. In addition, Rick Miles has held the position of Structural Analysis Section Manager at the Florida Institute of Technology since August 2021 and has previously contributed as an Adjunct Professor at Texas Christian University and Southern Polytechnic State University. Prior to these roles, Rick Miles worked at Lockheed Martin as a Staff Aeronautical Engineer and held various adjunct professorships at Mercer University and Texas Christian University. Rick Miles began the career as a Senior Materials Engineer at NCI Information Systems and served as a Forensic Consultant at Rimkus Consulting Group. Rick Miles holds a PhD, MSE, and BSE in Mechanical Engineering from Tulane University.
