Tod Goodyear

Tod Goodyear currently serves as the Public Information Officer for the Brevard County Sheriff's Office, a position held since March 2017, where responsibilities include coordinating communications with the media and disseminating information to the public and organizations. Additionally, Tod Goodyear has been an Adjunct Faculty member at the Florida Institute of Technology since January 2020 and previously contributed as an Assistant Football Coach at Eau Gallie High School and Melbourne High School. With a long tenure at the Brevard County Sheriff's Office, where Tod Goodyear retired as Commander in 2016, oversight included key investigative units and major incidents. Academic qualifications include a Master’s of Science in Criminal Justice and Organizational Management from the University of Central Florida and Apollos University, respectively, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida. Coaching experience spans multiple football programs, including the University of Central Florida.
