Katie Coldiron

Katie Coldiron serves as the Outreach Program Manager for the Digital Library of the Caribbean at Florida International University since July 2021, leading efforts in outreach, engagement, and partnership development across Caribbean cultural heritage institutions. Previously, Katie held roles such as Digital Archivist for the Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab, overseeing a grant-funded initiative, and worked as a graduate research assistant and specialized roles involving metadata translation and archival projects at various institutions, including The University of Texas at Austin and the University of Florida. Educational qualifications include a PhD in History from Florida International University, an MS in Information Studies from The University of Texas at Austin, and an MA in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the University of Florida, complemented by a BA in Sociology and Anthropology from Centre College.
