Mingjin Zhang

Mingjin Zhang is a seasoned research scientist and technical team leader at Florida International University, holding this position since September 2004. At the High Performance Database Research Center (HPDRC), Mingjin Zhang directs a computer science R&D team of approximately 15 members, encompassing researchers, postdocs, and Ph.D. students. Prior experience includes developing the "TerraFly" GIS system and designing high-performance algorithms for various applications. Mingjin Zhang also gained valuable experience as a software engineering intern at Lenovo, focusing on requirements analysis and system design for an E-Government project. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Software Engineering from Beihang University and a Bachelor's degree in Computational Mathematics and Applied Software from Shanxi University.
