Mitzi Uehara C.

Mitzi Uehara C. is a Teaching Assistant Professor at Florida International University since August 2014, where responsibilities include directing the Global Indigenous Forum and overseeing the monthly speaker series for the Global Sociocultural Studies Department. Prior to this role, Mitzi served as a Research Fellow at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science from November 2011 to November 2012. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Anthropology and a Master's degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Duke University.
