James Miller is an experienced communications professional with a proven track record in strategic messaging and media relations across various organizations. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Communications at the Florida League of Cities since September 2019, James develops communications strategies for a range of stakeholders. Previous roles include Senior Director of External Affairs & Marketing at the Florida Retail Federation and Vice President of Communications & Marketing at the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce. James has successfully managed comprehensive communications efforts, including rebranding initiatives and strategic media interactions, while also mentoring team members for professional growth. James holds a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management/Communications from Florida State University.
