Michael Burns

Michael Burns is an experienced Government Analyst with a strong background in the insurance sector, currently serving at the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation since October 2021. In this role as Government Analyst II, Michael develops and maintains tools for assessing statutory compliance of Life and Health insurance companies, utilizing extensive national databases for both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Prior to this position, Michael held the role of Government Analyst I, performing similar responsibilities. Additionally, from June 2013 to August 2022, Michael worked as a Technician and Network Engineer at Camplink, focusing on troubleshooting and maintaining WiFi infrastructure in RV parks nationwide. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Astrophysics from Florida State University and an Associate of Arts degree from Tallahassee State College. Education was completed with a High School Diploma from West Broward High School in 2013.
