Daniel Bell has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Daniel is currently serving as the Chief Deputy Solicitor General at the Florida Office of the Attorney General since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the General Counsel at the Florida House of Representatives from December 2019 to June 2021. Daniel has also worked at the same attorney general's office as the Deputy Solicitor General from March 2018 to November 2019. Before joining the public sector, Daniel was an Associate at Williams & Connolly LLP from January 2013 to March 2018. Daniel began their career as a Law Clerk at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, where they clerked for Judge Paul J. Watford and Judge Alex Kozinski from June 2011 to August 2012.
Daniel Bell completed their Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History from Florida State University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Daniel then pursued their legal education, attending the University of Virginia School of Law from 2008 to 2009. Later, they continued their studies at Stanford Law School, obtaining a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from 2009 to 2011.
