David Costello currently serves as the Deputy Solicitor General and previously held the position of Assistant Solicitor General at the Florida Office of the Attorney General since September 2020. Additionally, David Costello has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at Stetson University College of Law since January 2022. Prior professional experience includes a Judicial Law Clerk role for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, as well as positions as an Associate and Law Clerk at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP and Hunton & Williams LLP, respectively. Educational background includes a Doctor of Law (JD) from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language and Literature from the University of Florida.
