Declan Duffy

Declan Duffy is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Senior Assistant Attorney General at the Florida Office of the Attorney General since October 2022. Previously, Duffy was the Managing Attorney for the Veteran's Service Unit at Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, Inc., where responsibilities included assisting low and moderate-income veterans with civil legal needs, managing compliance with grant requirements, and overseeing unit activities. As an Assistant State Attorney in Florida's 4th Judicial Circuit from February 2016 to October 2019, Duffy handled investigations, negotiated case resolutions, and tried numerous jury and bench trials. Duffy's background also includes experience as a clinician at the Veterans Benefits Clinic and military service as a Fire Support Specialist in the United States Army. Educational credentials consist of a Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law and a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of North Florida.
