Asha Maharaj-Lucas, FRP, currently serves as an Executive Assistant for the Florida Public Service Commission since May 2018, having previously held the position of Florida Registered Paralegal at GUILDAY SCHWARTZ SIMPSON WEST HATCH & LOWE P.A. and VEZINA, LAWRENCE & PISCITELLI, P.A., specializing in various legal fields including insurance defense and construction litigation. Asha’s extensive experience includes roles at the Florida Department of Health, The Florida Senate, the Florida Office of Public Counsel, and in multiple capacities within the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of New Jersey, where responsibilities ranged from managing legal support and administrative tasks to facilitating bankruptcy cases. Asha holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Rutgers University.
