Jerry Cartwright has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Jerry started their career as the State Director and CEO for the Small Business Development Center Network at the University of St. Thomas from 1982 to 1988. Jerry then became the Retired State Director of the FL. Small Business Development Center Network at the University of West Florida from 1989 to 2013. During this time, they also served as the Legislative Liaison & Member of the Board of Directors for the University of West Florida Retired Employees Association starting in 2013. In 2015, Cartwright joined the United Way of Pensacola as an Evaluator for the Community Grant Program and later joined the Florida SBDC Network as a Program Manager, where they provided readiness assessment and counsel to the Network State Director.
Jerry Cartwright attended the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse from 1969 to 1972. Jerry then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree at the University of Northern Colorado from 1972 to 1976.
