Brad Hastings

Brad Hastings, CFRE, serves as the Associate Vice President for Principal Gifts and Gift and Estate Planning at Florida State University since January 2025. Prior experience includes roles at the Georgia Institute of Technology from September 2017 to January 2025, where responsibilities encompassed serving as the Assistant Vice President of Development for Colleges, Schools and Units, and the Executive Director of Development for the College of Engineering. Hastings also held positions as Senior Director of Development and Director of Development for the College of Computing. From January 2007 to June 2017, Hastings was President and Major Gifts Officer at Sigma Nu Educational Foundation Inc., successfully leading a capital campaign that raised over $12 million. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Fraternal Operations at Sigma Nu Fraternity, Inc. Hastings earned an MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology, a BS in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University, and a certification in Fundraising Management from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
