David Barrow Wiley

David Barrow Wiley is a seasoned filmmaker and educator currently serving as Filmmaker in Residence at Florida State University since September 2022 and at the Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts since August 2021. With extensive experience in set operations and equipment management within the college, David has contributed to the curriculum development for "Below the Line" workshops and has overseen the distribution and maintenance of production equipment. As the owner of Higher Power Images, David has honed skills in filmmaking and photography, focusing on composition, exposure, and lighting design since 2008. David holds an MFA in Film Production from Florida State University and a B.A. in Theatre Performance with a minor in Spanish from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
