Gerardo Forliano

Gerardo Forliano currently serves as the Head of Cyber Security and Chief Information Security Officer at Florim Ceramiche since May 2014, where responsibilities include IT security engineering and project analysis related to Warehouse Management Systems and materials tracking using GPS and computer vision technologies. In addition, Gerardo Forliano is a Lecturer at Fondazione ITS Maker, teaching data analysis, digital data utilization, and industrial cybersecurity. Since March 2024, Gerardo Forliano is a member of ASSOCISO, an Italian association for Chief Information Security Officers, advocating for the role of CISO within the national landscape. Recently, participation in CSA Italy's CISO Cloud Community has been undertaken, focusing on cloud security governance. Gerardo Forliano holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and has completed multiple specialized courses in information security, including Certified Information Security Manager and Cyber Security Management.
