Dr. Farima Pour-Khorshid is an Assistant Professor at the University of San Francisco since August 2018, where engagement in education for liberation is a primary focus. With over a decade of experience teaching at the elementary level in the Hayward Unified School District, Farima Pour-Khorshid also has a history of teaching university courses, supervising pre-service teachers, and facilitating teacher development in Nicaragua. Additionally, since June 2016, Farima Pour-Khorshid serves as a Radical Healing Associate Trainer and Facilitator at Flourish Agenda, Inc. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Education and a Master of Arts in Education from the University of California, Santa Cruz, alongside other degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences from California State University - East Bay and Chabot College.
