Dennis Tran

Dennis Tran has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Certified Peer Support Specialist at Flourish Labs, where they provide mental health support. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Collaborator and Cultural and Disability Inclusion Consultant at the Center for Scholars & Storytellers, where they helped develop research insights for content creators. Dennis also served as an Operation Steering Committee Member at Project by Project, a volunteer organization focusing on issues in the Asian American community.

Tran has also been involved with RespectAbility, a disability-led nonprofit, where they served as an Entertainment Cultural and Disability Inclusion Consultant and an Entertainment and News Media Apprentice/Consultant. Additionally, they were the Director of Partnerships at the Asian Americans with Disabilities Initiative, a volunteer youth-led organization.

Tran has displayed their skills and passion through various other roles, such as being the Creator, Editor, and Co-Host & Producer of the Asian Lifing Podcast, where they discussed topics related to mental health and disabilities in the AAPI community. Dennis also worked as a Small Business and Nonprofit Consultant on a freelance basis, providing assistance to organizations such as CATCH International LLC.

Furthermore, Tran contributed to the Fox Family Foundation as a Social Media Lead, Event, and Program Development team member, focusing on vision loss and blindness. Dennis also gained experience as a Quality Assurance Support Engineer at vablet, where they worked on UI/UX performance and customer support systems.

Lastly, Tran served as a Project Manager, Sr. Consultant/Associate Project Manager, and Consultant at Seed Consulting Group, a non-profit organization that provides pro-bono consulting services to environmental and public health non-profit organizations.

Dennis Tran's education history includes a Bachelor's of Arts (B.A.) in Public Health Policy from UC Irvine, which they completed from 2011 to 2015. During the same period, they also pursued a Management Minor at the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business. Prior to this, they obtained their High School Diploma from Lawndale High School from 2007 to 2011.
