John Boisture began their work experience in 2008 as a Healthcare Investment Banking Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities. In 2010, they transitioned to Novant Health as an Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis. Later that year, they joined Fifth Third Securities and held various roles, including Investment Banking Analyst, Investment Banking Associate, Investment Banking Vice President, and Director. In 2018, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Flow Automotive Companies.

John Boisture attended the University of Virginia from 2004 to 2008, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with concentrations in Finance and Management. Additionally, they also double majored in History during their time there.
