Paul Spivak

Director of Legal Affairs at Flow Health

Paul Spivak has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Paul started their career as an intern at AEI, where they researched and analyzed Russian politics and economics. Paul then worked as a legal assistant at Micale & Stock LLP, advising and assisting in criminal cases.

After that, they served as a graduate intern at IOM, where they researched and analyzed the economic potential of Pakistani migrant workers. Paul then worked as a contract attorney at Legal Source, ensuring compliance with international contracts and translating Russian contracts.

Paul then joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a senior consultant, where they analyzed federal regulations and developed guidelines for emergency situations. Paul later worked at Perotsystems as a technical analyst, providing technical support and legal advice for program management.

Paul then served as an attorney-advisor at the Social Security Administration, formulating legally defensible decisions for complex legal cases. Following that, they became the CEO of A&R Pharmacy, continuously reviewing and implementing laws and regulations regarding pharmacy operations.

Paul then worked as the in-house general counsel at United Diabetic Supplies, researching and implementing Medicare guidelines for durable medical equipment. Currently, they are the Director of Legal Affairs at Flow Health, negotiating and reviewing contractual agreements in the healthcare and insurance space while also providing legal counsel on compliance matters.

Throughout their career, Paul has demonstrated expertise in healthcare law, contract negotiation, compliance, and regulatory matters.

Paul Spivak completed their education in the following sequence:

- From 1996 to 2001, they attended Penn State University, where they obtained two Bachelor of Arts degrees. Their field of study for both degrees was International Politics and Economics, respectively.

- Continuing their education at Syracuse University, Paul attended both the College of Law and the Maxwell School from 2001 to 2004. During this period, they earned a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the College of Law, specializing in Law. Simultaneously, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Relations from the Maxwell School.

- Paul also obtained three additional certifications throughout their education and career. Paul obtained certificates from Syracuse University College of Law and Syracuse University - Maxwell School in June 2004. In February 2008, they obtained their New York Bar certification from the New York State Bar Association, specifically in the 3rd Judicial Department.
