Laura Scoffin has a diverse work experience in various marketing roles. Laura started their career as a Writer and Growth Person at Prism Magazine, where they grew the online community to 1,000 unique users a month. Laura then worked as a Digital Marketing Manager at Dare, focusing on website engagement, content creation, and social media strategies for clients like Sainsbury's and Sony. Laura then joined VMLY&R as a Brand Strategist, working with clients such as M&S and Vodafone, and later became a Senior Brand Strategist, defining British brands across different touchpoints. Laura also worked as a Strategy Director at Joint, before freelancing as a Growth & Brand Person for tech startups and social enterprises, including ohne and Radical Recruit. Laura's next role was as the Growth Director at Banjo Robinson, overseeing acquisition, conversion, and retention strategies. Laura then joined Koru Kids as a Senior Marketing Manager, eventually becoming the Head of Marketing and leading a team across growth marketing, brand, and CRM. Their most recent position is as the Growth Marketing Lead at Flow Neuroscience, starting in 2023. Throughout their career, Laura has demonstrated expertise in growth marketing, brand building, and strategic leadership.
Laura Scoffin completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Imperial College Business School from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Journalism from London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, which they pursued from 2006 to 2009.
Additionally, Laura has obtained several certifications to enhance their skill set. In October 2020, they completed the 12 Week Growth Course from Startup Core Strengths. In April 2020, they completed the "Introduction to Programming Using HTML and CSS" course from Codecademy. Furthermore, in January 2019, Laura obtained a certification in Product Management from Product School.
