Mark van Meurs

Mark van Meurs has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Mark started their career at Media Choice Broadcast Systems in 2002, where they worked as a Software Engineer, developing and supporting front-end applications for Adtec MPEG encoders and decoders. In 2007, they joined TOPdesk as a Software Engineer and later became a Team Lead, leading a team of 6 programmers and introducing Scrum methodology. Mark then progressed to the role of Development Manager, supervising and coaching teams of developers and contributing to the global management of the development department. In 2017, they took on the role of Change Agent, leading change projects and transforming sales and consultancy departments into agile business units. In 2021, they joined Mendix as a Software Development Manager, accountable for multiple development teams and responsible for coaching, assessing, and managing stakeholders. Currently, they are working at Flow Your Money as the Head of Engineering and will transition to the role of CTO in 2023.

Mark van Meurs obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications, including "Strategic Organization Design" from Coursera in July 2020, "Advanced Competitive Strategy" from Coursera in June 2020, "Competitive Strategy" from Coursera in April 2020, "Leading Strategic Innovation in Organizations" from Coursera in August 2014, "An Introduction to Marketing" from Coursera in July 2014, "An Introduction to Operations Management" from Coursera in May 2014, and "Foundations of Business Strategy" from Coursera in March 2014.
