Francesco Borghetti

Francesco Borghetti has a diverse range of work experience in the finance industry. Francesco is currently the Head of Finance at FLOWING, where they are responsible for accounting and reporting scopes, planning and control system implementation, forecasting and budgeting, managing financing and investments, and integrating new technological projects into the company's ecosystem.

Prior to their role at FLOWING, Francesco worked as a Financial Reporting Accountant at BASF. During their time there, they were responsible for the reporting process of Italian subsidiaries, month/year-end closing under various accounting standards, VAT return and INTRASTAT declaration reporting, intercompany reconciliation, and coordinating global chart of accounts. Francesco was also involved in the integration of Chemetall Group and the implementation of IFRS16 in the monthly closing process.

Before BASF, Francesco was employed at EY as a Financial Accounting Advisory. In this role, they provided financial advisory services to financial institutions, focusing on accounting changes, credit risk management, asset quality review, fast closing, supervisory reporting, and IFRS9 implementation. Francesco also worked on the securitization of loans for a major English bank.

Francesco also gained experience at Deutsche Bank as a Corporate Treasury Sales, where they conducted daily activities such as spot-forward pricing and negotiation, portfolio hedging, and providing internal reports on financial market forecasts.

Additionally, Francesco worked briefly as an Audit Intern at KPMG Italy.

Throughout their career, Francesco has developed skills in data analysis and modeling, business requirements definition, functional analysis, UAT testing using SQL, system integration, and business and accounting reports.

Francesco Borghetti has a diverse education history. Francesco first attended Università Bocconi from 2011 to 2014, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance, with a focus on CLEF (Commerce, Law, Economics, and Finance). Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Accounting, Financial Management, and Control at the same university from 2014 to 2016.

In 2015, Francesco participated in a Graduate Exchange Program at Mannheim Business School, where they studied towards a Master's degree in Business Administration for a brief period.

In 2019, Francesco obtained a certification in 24 CFU (Crediti Formativi Universitari) related to socio-psychological-pedagogical subjects for teaching from Università degli Studi eCampus.

Currently, from 2020 to 2023, Francesco is enrolled in Conservatorio di musica G. B. Pergolesi di Fermo, working towards a Bachelor's degree in Composition, specializing in Music Theory and Composition.
