Bala Sundaram G

Bala Sundaram G is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) across multiple roles. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer - CFD at Flowserve Corporation since July 2024, Bala previously worked as a CFD Engineer at Ingersoll Rand, where notable achievements included introducing enhanced CFD simulation capabilities that increased project inflow. Prior to that, Bala spent nearly a decade at the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), progressing from Junior Research Fellow to Senior Research Fellow, developing advanced multi-phase heat transfer codes and 3-D simulations for thermal hydraulics in nuclear reactor applications. Bala holds a PhD in Thermal Engineering - CFD and a Master's degree in the same field, both from IGCAR, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University College of Engineering Nagercoil.
