FCMC is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic located in the charming northeast Iowa river town of Charles City, Iowa. FCMC hospital is licensed and accredited by the Iowa Department of Inspection and Appeals and is a member of the Iowa Hospital Association. FCMC is governed by a seven-member elected Board of Trustees. 

FCMC provides inpatient and skilled nursing care, 24/7 Emergency, and After Hours acute care as well as numerous outpatient services, including diabetes management, nutrition services and education, wound and ostomy care, physical, speech, and occupational therapy, laboratory and industry leading imaging and radiology services. Our outpatient specialty clinic offers general surgery, cardiology, ENT, nephrology, orthopedics, podiatry, urology, and sleep study services.
